This is a regulation MIL-SPEC WIND WARRIOR™Polyester-2 U.S. Garrison Flag. This is the same flag flown by Army and Marine Corps Garrisons all over the world. The Polyester-2 Garrison Flag is the same material as the Garrison Flag which was displayed at the Pentagon after 911. Polyester is a longer lasting material then nylon, but, polyester is much heavier then nylon and requires a stiff wind to fly.
We advise that you purchase two Garrison Flags and rotate them. This way when one Garrison Flag is in need of re-hemming then the other can be flying proudly. If you rotate your flags you will find that they will last much longer and look better. Use a tent and canvas maker to do the re-hemming. When the stripes are the same length as the canton then it is time to retire your Garrison Flag and purchase a new one.
