This 40-foot high Tornado Flagpole is your pole.

With a 231 mph unflagged windspeed, this 40' U.S. Flagpole is made to survive a direct hit by an F4 tornado

The flagged windspeed with a 5' x 9.5' MIL SPEC Storm U.S. Flag flying is 175+ mph.  But there are so many U.S. Flags you can fly from a 40' Flagpole.  And in so many different conditions with the Tornado 40'.

Here is an example of changing your U.S. Flag to meet extreme conditions. If you received a tornado watch but have an 8' x 12' U.S. Flag flying... you could change it with a 2.37-foot high x 4.5-foot long MIL SPEC U.S. Flag and likely that you would still be flying proudly in 220+ mph winds.

You might think a  2.37-foot high x 4.5-foot long MIL SPEC U.S. Flag will look "dinky" on a 40' U.S. Flagpole, but it is assured that a helicopter 3-miles away could see that small yet bright MIL SPEC nylon glowing and flashing in the distance. And if upside down? Then that helicopter would know someone was in distress.

See we all sometimes only see the U.S. Flag as something to be admired and displayed for admiration.  But in reality the U.S. Flag serves a purpose which often plays a part in life and death situations.  This is why, if you have the money, buy this 40' Tornado Flagpole. It's a U.S. Flagpole you can bet your life on.

And now you can, no matter what comes your way; because, when you purchase a Tornado 40' Flagpole you also get, included in the price, a backup aftermath 20' telescoping Flagpole with U.S. Flag, just to be totally prepared.

NOTE: ApexFlags.com never recommends 20' telescoping poles for everyday use, over years; because telescoping poles are week and wear out in years not decades.

However, we do highly recommend telescoping poles as a backup to your main U.S. Flagpole. Our Company Founder George even has telescoping backup to our ApexFlags.com Test Flagpole.  "Just to be Eagle Scout Prepared" he says.

Telescoping Flagpoles are great back up. Only. But if needed, they are compact, lightweight, and easy to store in a hardened place. Telescoping Backups are also easy to install after a catastrophe, especially if you have already pre-installed the ground sleeve and it is prepared to receive the telescoping shaft. Telescoping Flagpoles also have a security mechanism to prevent unauthorized lowering.

Your Flagpole surviving a tornado is a crap shoot.  Even a 40' Tornado Flagpole can be bent by tornado bent winds.  This is why you get the telescoping backup include at no charge.  Because if you are buying this Tornado 40' for safety and emergency preparedness, and ApexFlags.com is your Flag Advisor, then you should absolutely have a backup U.S. Flagpole.   If your landscape is obliterated; a 20' U.S. Flagpole will rise above the rubble for sure.
